About Zonta

Mission Statement: Zonta International is a leading global organization of professionals empowering women worldwide through service and advocacy.
Zonta was founded in 1919 in Buffalo, New York. We have over 26,000 members worldwide, from 64 countries.
Service, Education, & Advocacy
Our group serves and advocates for women's rights and gender equality. Zonta International partners with UN agencies such as UNFPA, UNICEF USA, and others promoting education, equality and human rights, economic empowerment, health, climate change, stopping gender-based violence, ending child marriages, and more.

On a local level we work with many organizations including:

We believe in education and offer scholarships. We host a run every October raising funds supporting our scholarships and service projects.
